About

We are commissioned to go out into all nations and make disciples of Christ.  Our missions ministry supports and sends out the men and women who are called to go into all nations and reach out with the love and hope found in Christ.  We have sent and continue to support missionaries all over the world from Mexico to Cambodia all equipped with the gospel and the heart to reach all.

"Do you know your purpose? Do you know the purpose of the church? Jesus' last words to us before leaving Earth were: "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations..." (Matt. 28:19), a command given to all believers. The vision and focus of our missions ministry is to obey this command from our Savior.

We have sent out and support men and women called by God to take the beautiful message of the gospel to the ends of the earth. Not all are called to the ends of the earth, but whether it is through praying, giving, or going we all have our part to play in the making of disciples and the building of God's Kingdom.  If you would like to get involved in missions and join us in reaching the world with the gospel, email us at spencer@calvarylm.org.

Cross to Light has been organized for the purpose of helping people cross from darkness to light by receiving the gospel. Cross to Light’s core function in Haiti is to bring in young leaders from different provinces of Haiti in order to build them up in the Word of God, taking them through the bible over the course of two years and send them back out to plant churches in order to provide bible teaching discipleship and community relief throughout the entire country. Each church plant is a community center where assistance to the poor, homeless, widows and orphans of Haiti are given relief aid. At the church facilities, in addition to the bible teaching and discipleship, Cross to Light digs deep water wells, provides medical supplies and assistance, and distributes relief aid - all free of cost to the Haitian people.

Devin and Shannon Long | Decision Point

Devin and Shannon are local missionaries with Decision Point (formerly known as National School Project), a ministry which equips Christian students in public schools to share their faith. Over the years, Decision Point has helped hundreds of students come to know the Lord, and has developed countless resources to help train Christian students. As a public high school student, Shannon didn't know about the opportunities she had to share the gospel on campus. Now, she is committed to making sure that every high school student is equipped with what they need to confidently share the gospel on their high school campus. In her role with Decision Point, she focuses on using social media to reach and train students online. In Devin’s role as Expansion Director, Devin focuses on launching the ministry into new areas (currently Sacramento, California as well as Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona). Devin and Shannon also have a huge heart for local church ministry and you can often find them at CCLM leading the youth ministry, running the coffee shop, or serving on the worship team.

She also helps at Calvary Chapel Tijuana with many of the “behind the scenes” details of ministry. She does most of the corresponding, hosting, and coordinating with groups that come for short term mission trips. She considers it an honor and a blessing to serve Jesus. It is an adventure every day.

Calvary Chapel Bible College | South Asia

*For safety reasons “Pastor” is anonymous*

Pastor was born in a Christian family. His father and mother have been serving the Lord as full-time missionaries in the 10/40 Window for the past thirty-nine years. He also has a younger brother who assists his parents in ministry. Pastor has had many dreams and visions since the time he was six years old. However, he did not know what it meant until his parents opened the Bible and showed him Joel 2:28. When he was six years old, his parents put him in a boarding school. At that time, he asked his Mom, “Who is going to tell me Bible stories?” His parents gave him a Bible and said, “All the stories are in here.” But he asked, “Did God speak to Abraham, Moses, Jonah and the other people mentioned in the Bible?” When he heard a “Yes” from his mother, he said, “Only when God speaks, will I read the Bible.” But after a few years he realized that God was speaking to him. Pastor had studied to be an Aeronautical Engineer, but on the 3rd of March, 2010 at 3AM the Lord spoke to him to serve Him. From that very day, he has been in full-time ministry. God made a way, through a pastor in California, to study the Word and complete his bachelor’s in Theology at CCBCE in Hungary. Since the day God spoke to him, Pastor has not gone back to work a single day at a secular job. He has traveled to various places across the globe with the good news of Christ Jesus. The Lord has been providing for him in everything that he needs and has shown him how faithful He is always
