Tyler grew up as a kid attending Calvary Chapel La Mirada with his parents, Richard and Toni, and three siblings Jenni, Jessica, and Scott. In September of 2005, Richard and the whole family were sent out to plant a Church in Monrovia, California, Calvary Chapel Monrovia.
Tyler continued to grow in the ministry serving along side his father Richard in the various ministry needs of Calvary Chapel Monrovia. After graduating High School he spent a year at Oral Roberts University in Oklahoma. In pursuit of his calling to ministry he moved back to Southern California to attend Calvary Chapel Bible College when it was in Murrieta for a year. During his time in Bible College he would commute back to Monrovia on the weekends to lead worship at CC Monrovia.
Tyler then went on to spend a couple years assisting in a Calvary church plant near Dallas, Texas as well as at a Calvary Chapel in Hawaii as the Worship Pastor. After getting engaged to his future wife, Justine, they decided they wanted to settle down in Southern California near both of their families and begin to pursue the calling that God had on their lives together at Calvary Chapel Monrovia. After years of asissting his father and leading various ministries at the church, Tyler began to sense the calling to plant a church and begin shepherding as a Senior Pastor. In 2016, the Lord opened up the door for Tyler to step into his current position here at Calvary Chapel La Mirada as Lead Pastor.
Tyler has a passion for teaching the Word of God and seeing it transform peoples lives. He also has a strong desire to reach the next generation and see revival sweep across the world.
Tyler married is wife, Justine, in 2012 and they currently have 3 sons together.
